Gelato Giuliana is an artisan gelato produced in the state of Connecticut. Our chef, a multi-award winning geletaio from Milan, Italy, handcrafts our gelato daily, in the traditional method of the gelaterias of Italy. We use only top-quality, pure and all natural ingredients, from the best sources worldwide. We also buy from local farms, whenever possible, products indigenous to this area.

Why does Gelato Giuliana have such incredibly intense flavor?

High butterfat content which is found in American- style ice cream coats your taste buds. Since we use primarily milk instead of cream, the flavor of the product is what you taste, creating a much more intense flavor with about 1/3 less fat than traditional ice cream. Our fruit flavors contain no dairy or fat. The smooth, silky texture and density of our product comes from the absence of air which is usually whipped into American style ice cream. Add this to the virtuous balance of raw material, quality, special recipes, processing and determination for perfection, you then have Gelato Giuliana and The Art of Delicious!
